A meet & greet is an introductory meeting at your home. This consultation allows you to meet us and get comfortable with allowing us into your home. It also gives us a chance to get acquainted with your pet(s), have you personally show us the pet's routine and your home's layout. It typically takes 30 to 45 minutes, depending on how many pets you have and how complex their needs are. We will detail the services we provide and leave behind an information packet. If you are ready to book with us, we will also sign a service contract.

Are you a member of any trade organizations?
Yes. We are current members in good standing of Pet Sitters International and the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. We think it is important to network with other pet sitting professionals and stay updated on the latest best practices. We also continue our education through these organizations.
Cats see about six times better than humans at night.
Are you bonded and insured?
Absolutely! We think it's a big deal that you trust us with your home and your pets, and we take that responsibility very seriously. We maintain comprehensive insurance that provides extensive coverage for a variety of scenarios. Our policy includes General Liability specifically designed for pet sitters and the broadest Care, Custody and Control coverage for the pets and property in our care. Additionally, we have chosen to purchase a Pet Sitter Dishonesty Bond for extra peace of mind. If you have any questions about what this means for you, or if you would like to see a copy of our policies, please don't hesitate to ask. We want to earn your trust.

We require a minimum of one visit every day. Because cats are such masters of hiding illness, it's important to check up on them every day when you are away. Our goal is to limit risk as much as possible during your absence, in order to provide the highest levels of safety for your home and pets.
Your safety and privacy are our top priority. We only use window cling and magnetic signs on our cars, all of which will be removed before we drive to your home.

We only accept appointments where we are solely responsible for the actual physical care of the pet. This is the only way for us to monitor how well your pet is eating, drinking, and relieving itself. If other people will have access to the home, Pacific Pet Sitters can assume no liability for any damage or losses to your home or pet.
We highly recommend that you let us be the only people with access to your home and pets. Any number of issues could arise while you are away. By limiting the number of people who are coming into your home, you are not only reducing the risk of something going wrong, but also ensuring that there cannot be any doubt about who is responsible if something does happen.
